Masterworks Choir annually performs choral concerts of classical music at Central United Methodist Church and other facilities such as the Francis Marion University Performing Arts Center  and the Florence Center. Founded in 1979, the 50-voice choir is a highly respected and critically acclaimed regional community chorus.

The Choir has performed in Greenville, Charleston, Baltimore, the National Cathedral in Washington, and was universally praised when it performed on tour in Europe in 1995. The Masterworks Choir performed in May, 2014 at Carnegie Hall in New York City with internationally acclaimed composer, John Rutter.
