The Florence County Museum holds a collection of artifacts from the American Civil War through World War I, as well as original artwork by Florence native William H. Johnson, Pueblo pottery, ethnographic art, and Asian art.

In addition to displaying its permanent collection, the Florence County Museum hosts traveling exhibits and annual art competitions. And don’t miss out on the weekly docent-led tours. It’s a great way for better understanding of the exhibits. Regularly scheduled docent-led tours take place every Thursday at 2 p.m. A tour of any one of our galleries lasts approximately one hour.
